16 October 2026: Orior inside Claude and ChatGPT

In clients that support MCP Apps, generate_image and generate_video show a card that follows the generation and shows the result with download and open actions.
New open_upload_box and list_uploads tools: the person uploads photos or videos from their device right in the chat, and the agent lists them by box.
New create_upload_url and finish_upload tools for agents that can upload local files directly.
POST /uploads accepts an optional box_id, and GET /uploads?box_id= lists the files of one upload box.
Generations add result.library_url, a link to the file in the owner’s Orior library.

The API and the MCP server work on every plan, Free included. Credits are what you spend; each plan has its own rate limits.
403 PLAN_REQUIRED now only means a feature the plan does not include, such as social publishing on Free.

POST /characters accepts 1–3 face photos (was exactly 3). One clear front photo is enough; more angles improve the likeness.

Hosted MCP server at /mcp for Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients, authenticated with API keys. Tools follow the key’s scopes.
orior-mcp package for stdio clients such as Claude Desktop, with uploads from local files.
Sign in with an Orior account (OAuth 2.1) from claude.ai, Claude Desktop and ChatGPT connectors; manage them in Dashboard → Developers → Connected apps.
